An Inclusive Future

Gender Equality in Children's Stories
Description

What legacies are we leaving with the generations to come with respect to gender equality, diversity and inclusion? Stories determine who we are and how we behave as a society. Join us for a discussion on children’s books to analyse the gendered stereotypes embedded within children’s stories in an attempt to redefine these narratives and create a more inclusive, gender friendly culture and society for generations to come.

Addressing deep rooted gender stereotypes is a step to combatting institutional and cultural violence and is in line with our Help Anna campaign, an initiative to raise awareness about the different types of violence women of all backgrounds are exposed to.
